US Army Field Band and Soldier's Chorus

Come join us for a star-spangled night of music and honors as the US Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus, the military musical ambassadors from Washington D.C. , make one of only two Illinois stops on their current national tour, and one is right here in Southern Illinois.   This esteemed group of musicians travel the world sharing their professional musical gifts to audiences young and old.  THIS IS A FREE CONCERT TO THE PUBLIC but a free ticket is required for admission.
 
Appearing with this group is the Murray State University Concert Choir. The MSU Concert Choir is the premier choral organization at Murray State University and enjoys an international reputation for excellence in choral music. Under the baton of Dr. Bradley L. Almquist, the choir has sung invitational performances for the National Convention of the Music Educators National Conference and the Southern Division of the American Choral Directors Association.  Over the past decade they have toured and performed in England, Scotland and Wales, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, and Ireland.
